Bible Sketching

I have been sketching in my Bible. For special prayers, I sketch a person directly onto the scripture I am praying. This is new for me, but here are a few of them...

This is such a blessing to do... and I have even sketched in others' Bibles. Also, I can do this and my TD makes prints of them.
Please enjoy them, and let me know what you think.

Your work is beautiful. I found it via a site- I think it was Live Action or something?- and it took forever to find your blog, but I'm glad I looked. You have great talent. :)

Thank you for your kind words! It is so encouraging to know that someone is peekiing in at the blog.
Please keep checking back in. I may not post a lot, however I do have dozens/hundreds of works that I am going to put up here.
Hugs and prayers,

I peek a lot! I always enjoy your paintings so much. I wish my Mom could view what you did in the bible. She would be so appreciative! Bless you Diana.

I just found out about your work through a friend of mine who lives in Kansas City and goes to IHOP :)

She sent me a picture of 'Leaning Upon Her Beloved' for my birthday, and as Song of Solomon is one of my favorites, it was perfect! And such a blessing :) I can't tell you how much of a blessing it is!

And I *love* pink, so I was especially delighted that the girl's dress is pink, lol!

I wish I could send you my Bible to sketch in :D

Thank you so much for what you do :) It is truly a blessing!

Love,

Jessica

I forgot to ask...you mentioned an Etsy shop in an earlier post. Do you have one yet? If so, would you mind giving me the link?! :)

Thank you!

Jessica, thanks so much for your sweet words. I read your blog and commented on the Red Cross post. What a wonderful family you have!
My husband Tim has an art print business and his Etsy shop will open up in February. Keep checking here for announcements.
Also, if you would like to order from him, his email address is T.Downing (at) yahoo (dot) com.
Blessings to you!

Thank you, Diana! I'll definitely be checking in :D
And thank you for your comment on our blog :) I knew going into it that donating blood would be a help to someone, but knowing of people who have been helped by blood donations made it all the more amazing :)

MY mother and I got a copy of the one on the bottom from my cousin Ruthie. It's beautiful and brightens up our house. Thank you for the inspiring art you do.
